We provide patients with evening and weekend appointments through our Enhanced Access Service. These can be booked through the patient’s practice or by ringing our Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) number on 0203 839 7513. Patients can ring this number 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm.

Evening and weekend GP appointments are available in Newham at your GP practice or an NHS service nearby.
- You can see a doctor, nurse, pharmacist or other healthcare professional based on the nature of your issue.
- This service is known as ‘enhanced access’ and is organised by your local primary care network. These are groups of GP practices that work together to offer local services.
- You may not be seen by a healthcare professional from your registered GP Surgery.
- Healthcare professionals will have access to your medical record, so your full medical history will be known and can be updated.
- Appointments must be booked in advance.
- You can book an appointment by speaking to the reception staff at your GP practice.
- Some GP practices have a dedicated phoneline for booking evening and weekend appointments.
- Please note this is NOT an emergency service.
